Releasing on 16 September 2026, 30th CELEBRATION brings together Pokémon from across generations, special anniversary artwork, a brand-new rarity and plenty of Pikachu as Pokémon looks back at the past while celebrating the future of the game.

Each Japanese Booster Box contains 20 booster packs, with 6 holo cards in every pack.

Celebrating 30 Years of Pokémon Cards

The Pokémon Card Game reaches its 30th Anniversary in 2026, and 30th CELEBRATION has been created specifically to mark this major milestone.

The expansion celebrates Pokémon cards from the past, present and future, with artwork and cards designed around three decades of collecting and playing the Pokémon TCG.

Whether you’ve collected Pokémon cards for years or have only recently joined the hobby, 30th CELEBRATION represents a major milestone release in Pokémon Card Game history.

30 Special Pikachu Holo Cards

It wouldn’t be a Pokémon anniversary without Pikachu!

30th CELEBRATION features 30 different special Pikachu holo cards, giving collectors an anniversary-themed Pikachu chase spanning an incredible 30 designs.

Even better, Pokémon has confirmed that every booster pack contains one special 30th Anniversary Pikachu card.

That means every sealed Japanese Booster Box contains 20 anniversary Pikachu cards across its 20 packs, although duplicates may occur.

Introducing Futuristic Rare – FUR

30th CELEBRATION introduces a completely new Pokémon Card Game rarity: FUR – Futuristic Rare.

Futuristic Rare cards feature colourful visuals designed to evoke excitement and hope for the unknown future of Pokémon cards.

Mew ex has been officially revealed as one of the headline FUR cards, bringing one of Pokémon’s most iconic Mythical Pokémon into this new anniversary rarity.

Pokémon Through the Generations

The anniversary set isn’t focused on just one era.

30th CELEBRATION includes cards designed to represent the history of the Pokémon Card Game, alongside Pokémon from different generations and legendary favourites.

Officially revealed cards include Pokémon such as Mew ex and Greninja ex, with more of the anniversary card list continuing to be revealed ahead of release.

Every Pack Is Holo

Each Japanese 30th CELEBRATION booster pack contains 6 holo cards.

Pokémon has also confirmed the following guaranteed composition within those six cards:

• 1 × Special 30th Anniversary Pikachu Card
• 1 × Basic Energy Card
• 4 × Additional Holo Cards

Cards are randomly inserted, so individual cards and designs cannot be guaranteed.
